Flower and Plant Local Delivery Terms

Place your order by 11am for same day delivery Mon - Fri. If ordered after this time we will do our best for same day delivery however, your order may be delivered on the next business day. Be sure to check the Delivery Areas as some areas are Next Day Delivery. Next Day Delivery means we need to have the order the previous BUSINESS DAY to the day you are requiring delivery,

Be sure to select a delivery date. If a delivery date is not selected we do not just send out in case we get the date wrong. We will be in contact with you to organise a delivery date. Sometimes you need to enter the date backwards eg. 14th April as 04/14.

No deliveries of a weekend as most Saturdays there isn’t a Florist available and we don’t have a weekend courier. With notice, (at least the day before) we may possibly be able to do a Saturday delivery - in GATTON TOWNSHIP ONLY or but you must call us on 07 54623777 to check availability and arrange. We are unable to turn off selected dates for delivery. It is on you to select correct delivery day Monday - Friday.

As for Saturday Collections, Please allow 24 hours notice for us to arrange your order in time as most Saturday’s there isn’t a Florist available.

We are unable to offer a set time for deliveries. All orders will be delivered between 11 and 6pm. If you need your order delivered by a certain time please contact us and we will do our very best to accommodate your specific requirements but time deliveries cannot be guaranteed. A late delivery does not entitle you to a cancellation or refund. Orders that have been placed online outside of business hours will be delivered the next business day. Be sure to select a correct delivery date. as we are unable to turn off delivery days eg. weekends and public holidays. A contact number for the sender MUST be given. It is your obligation to ensure that you have the correct delivery address; we will not give refunds for deliveries made to incorrect addresses.

You can see our delivery areas here Our Areas — Gatton Florist. When selecting a delivery suburb, please be careful in selecting the correct suburb. Some suburbs require extra delivery fee. If this is the case and you have selected incorrectly we may call you for the extra delivery fee or we may take it out of the flower money. If you can’t find your area listed in the Shipping area please check the link under deliveries that says “our areas”. If your area isn’t listed you can contact us at gattonflorist@gmail.com and we will do our best to organise a courier for you however being a rural area there are no guarantees.

WE HAVE ADDED SOME NEW DELIVERY AREAS INCLUDING -- Lowood, Marburg, Esk, Fernvale, Minden. & Toogoolawah ( Mon, Wed & Fri Only) and Rosewood (Tues & Thurs Only). Deliveries in these areas are in the Townships Only- NO RURAL AREAS. We need the orders for these areas by 4pm the day prior to delivery.

Please select the correct delivery area. If you select the incorrect delivery area and there is an additional fee to be paid you will be contacted before delivery. We cannot deliver without correct payment as delivery money goes to the courier.

Flowers, Plants, Candles and Hampers can only be delivered locally and incur a courier fee. Gifts can be sent Australian Wide. Please select Giftware freight on checking out. You can also select a local courier for same day gift delivery.  Plants are available for local delivery of collection only.  Delivery to Address’s only. No Po Boxes or Lot Numbers.

Giftware freight applies to Giftware only. Not plants or Flowers - Fresh or Preserved as we send it by Sendle or Australia Post. Free Shipping over $150 applies to GIFTWARE ONLY - NOT PLANTS OR FLOWERS.

Free Pick Up In Our Gatton Store is available for same day collection if ordered before 12pm - Monday - Friday.

Notes : When typing your message please do not use symbols as only Australian Alphabet is able to be used on the label machine. We write message exactly how written. So if you type short hand we type shorthand.

What if they're not home when the flowers are delivered?

This is an easy one. If the receiver isn’t home, we’ll leave them somewhere in the shade close to the front door as possible. If you’d like us to leave them somewhere else, just let us know when you place your order. If they have one of those big fancy houses with security gates and codes or they live in a big apartment building, just remember to let us know how we can access the property. If we can’t get in, we can’t leave the flowers and will have to bring them back to the studio. We do our best not to leave balloons or chocolates as they may burst or melt. In this case we will contact the recipient if they do not answer they will be returned to the shop for the recipient to collect.

Please remember that it is your responsibility to make sure that the address you have provided is correct and that the property we’re delivering flowers to is accessible for our couriers – they don’t really like jumping fences. We will only try and call the receiver or sender if we feel there is a problem with your order. If we deliver your flowers when the receiver is not home and you have provided the wrong address, we are not able to try and retrieve your order and you will need to place a new order (unless that person is lovely enough to get in touch)!

What if my flowers are returned to the shop because they couldn't be delivered?

This doesn’t happen too often but there is the odd little guy that makes his way back us. This is why it’s super important to check your order before sending it off to us. Wrong addresses, missing information on orders, patients being discharged early and inaccessible buildings are the main reasons that we see our flowers come back. If we need to re-deliver your flowers, we’ll have to charge you a re-delivery fee – we don’t like it but that’s just the way the cookie crumbles. 

Alcohol: You must be over the age of 18 to order or receive alcoholic beverages. The sender of the item is responsible for ensuring their order complies with the law in this regard and absolves Gatton Florist of any responsibility in this regard. Cancellations: If you wish to cancel your order you must do so 24hrs prior to the delivery date. A full refund will be arranged. We are unable to cancel an order on the same day as delivery as the flowers or gifts will already be in preparation or transit. Due to seasonal changes some flowers may be substituted. Containers are subject to availability and may be substituted. If you have a specific request in mind please contact us at least 24hrs prior to delivery so we can try our very best to accommodate your requests. All prices listed include GST and are in Australian currency.
